・HNがあると結節性のGOAの可能性が高い。

・HNがあると膝OAや変形性脊椎症の割合が高い。

・遺伝的要因で発症する。

・女性、高齢で多い。

・軟骨下骨の骨化の変化が生じ、関節周囲骨は膨隆する。

・関節周囲骨を膨隆させ、接触面を高めることで、結果として関節を保護しているのか？

・メカニカルや機能的な問題で生じているのではないので、理学療法の効果はあるのか？

・問題点がはっきりしない肩関節周囲炎もこれ？

・骨密度、圧迫骨折などとの関係は？

・荷重関節、非荷重関節の違いは出るのか？

膝OAの半数以上がGOAだとすると、GOAに行っていた理学療法やその効果は実質的なものではなかったということになります。

おそらく肩関節周囲炎のいくつかもその可能性があります。

そうなるとこの治癒過程の間は、余計な非生理的な外力は与えない方がいい可能性があります。

もしかすると、理学療法により治癒過程を遷延化させていた場合もあるかもしれません。

しっかりと全体を評価して、問題点が明確でないのであれば（もちろん、あらさがしすれば何らかの問題点はあるかもしれませんが、それが症状と結びついていなければダメ）、何もしないというのも一つの選択肢になると思います。

常に、何かわかっていないことがあると思って取り組むことが大切。

わかっていなかった時ほど、理学療法でなんでも良くなると思っていました。
